"My artistic life is born from my sense of wonder and thirst for knowledge of how things work and develop; what is under the surface……. the mysteries of the mud and the stars.
After leaving Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in the early 1990’s I worked from my studio (AtelierTrois) in Richmond Melbourne in sculpture and photography and found personal and professional success with exhibitions in Melbourne Townsville and Sydney.
Since moving to live on Magnetic Island in North Queensland, I have discovered the wonderful world of printmaking and now my work focuses on the interconnections of humanity in the journey of life, amidst the new discoveries and challenges that living in a natural environment brings with it."

"From my earlier forage into art, I was developing my skills and research and became interested in exploring the intricacies of the processes in forming the work and to shift the main focus away from controlling the final work.
My earliest work saw my skills develop, as I became interested in exploring the journey and intricacies of the processes used in forming the art pieces – this led to a shift in my main focus so that the piece was about the exploration as opposed to the final work.
Presently I continue to experiment with different ways to contextualize how we present and view prints while working to engage with the rhythms and energies of the process using my visual vocabulary juxtaposing forms and space to explore the intuitive tension in my mark making and materials.
I am searching to find notions that touch the essence of people, and continue to investigate the common humanity that underlies cultural differences while contemplating how we seek to balance our lives to create a space for reflection amidst the edges of our varied experiences with all the interconnections."
